oh gosh.. it's been a LONG time.. haha everytime I say that I'm going to post regularly and then it's another 3 months before I post again... maybe I should just post quarterly... haha that way I can keep up with my stats :P

Oh gosh.. this summer went by in a blink of an eye! One day I finished my spring semester and the next, I'm already starting fall!!!
a few things to recap from this summer:::

- Boston trip was AMAZING!! I don't know if it was because of JD and Sara.. and I do love them... or if it was just the city, but wow.. really one of my favorite places to go for vacation hands down.. maybe it was maine, their lobster and the beach that won me over, but all in all it was an amazing trip! I still miss that 70 degree weather we got everyday!!

- LA trip was JUST as fab!! :) Got to see my julie and spend all weekend with her! Even got to catch up with some of my girls from missions with SMI 4 years ago.. oh gosh I missed them soo!!! FINALLY got to try pinkberry.. but I have to say that red mango took me.. haha hence MY thoughts:: red mango > pinkberry.. plus pinkberry's not even real yogurt! haha... got to see SANDRA OH!! OHH my first celebrity! haha last time I went to L.A. 4 years ago, I was sad I didn't have a celebrity citing with me being such a celebrity know it all :P but so fun! Thanks JOOLES for housing and taking care of me alllllll weekend and ANNIE and STELLA for meeting up and playing with us! I miss you gals already :) though jooles, i look forward to seeing you labor day weekend :P

-Missouri trip:: so I saw east coast/west coast, pacific and the atlantic, the only way i could finish was to go midwest! haha.. my dearest and oldest friend Jenny lives there and she's getting married in november and I have the honor of being the maid of honor.. oh me oh my.. what a trip.. it's crazy how we had kept in touch all these years but we didn't see each other face to face for 6 years!! It was a definitely LONG time coming :) It was good to catch up, shop, and do lots of wedding stuff and still have time to rest and relax :)

-Practicum is complete!! Oh my gooderness.. I seriously thought I'd never see the day coming but gosh it came!! haha.. now i'm in my internship which is harder and longer.. but that just means one more semester and I'm done!! :) I've certainly learned a lot and still feel completely inadequate to counsel others, but I've definitely come to learn that every counseling session is not lead by me or my co-counselor, but only truly by God.. It's amazing to see how He uses people like us who know nothing, to do something for Him.. :) Now.. onto individual counseling! I have to admit it's quite nerve racking counseling on my own, but I trust God will be guiding the entire session :)

- Yogurtland has invaded Dallas and it has been fantabulous!!!

- ODC has been really good for me these past few weeks.. spending time with my gals and totally having times of prayer... I'm praying that everyone who has been there has been feeling the same thing and that they are growing and encouraged from one another!! Let's continue to pray and seek God together!! :)

- My seminary friends are all back.. :)

- I can't wait till Labor Day weekend :P

Studying... something that is NOT my forte... I never quite mastered it in high school OR college.. and when I came to seminary and wrote a 30 page paper... HELLO! puahahaha.... yet I can still say that I am master of procrastination.. :(

I definitely think I played too much this past weekend... I sure don't regret a single minute of it but yet at the same time it was ringing in the back of my ear... must study, must study....

I've come to realize that I've gotten incredibly good at hiding my stress level... even to myself. Honestly, I think that I'm much more stressed that I think I am or show I am(my white hairs in my head can testify), yet at the same time, I avoid like no other. yep.. avoid. My strategy is rather than stress and freak out, just avoid it and freak out right before. All I can say is :: BAD BAD tactic. I started to notice that these past few weeks as assignments and church things creep up, a typical persons reaction would be to freak out, but my reaction is that I just ignore it and do something else to not think about it until I absolutely have to. At first I thought it was just with my schoolwork, but I'm beginning to notice it more in lots of different aspects of my life and how it does affect so many other areas of how I live. I know that as a single, this is the time to really fix a lot of the bad habits that I have built up over the years (oh and I have soo many.. poor future guy.. puehehehe), and this one is the one I shall have start with.

Any suggestions as to how to change my horrible habit? Help!!!

OOH and Sandy:: I won't be at your house this weekend...because I will be going home to visit my family!! :) I am excited!!!
